What are your plans for 2020?

We’re coming to the end of another year and I hope it’s been a good one for your business.  In the lull between Christmas and the New Year, take some time out (especially if your business is closed for the festivities) to think about where you want your business to be this time next year and what steps you need to take to turn that into a reality.

During 2019 did you do any marketing? Did you have some great ideas and plans for marketing, but the day to day stuff got in the way?

If you’re making New Year’s Resolutions why not make one to do some Marketing next year? And if you’re one of those people who aren’t very good at sticking to their resolutions (you’re not alone), why not let me get involved and help you deliver your marketing for you?

Working with a marketing consultant can be a great way to plan, coordinate and deliver the marketing for your business. You’re not having to employ someone full time or part time (unless you have a lot of marketing you want done!), but can use a consultant for as much or as little as you need. I’m not keen on the word ‘consultant’ because I don’t just consult, I actually deliver on what I suggest should be done.

I work with small businesses who recognise the value of marketing but don’t have the skills or resources in-house. They may have used consultants in the past (some good, some not so good) and were looking for an honest, practical person to help them identify the areas where consistent marketing is needed. And importantly within their budget.

Typically this includes starting with drafting a marketing strategy (some businesses have never ever had one). With a clear plan of where you are and where you want to be, highlighting your strengths, the key products you want to promote & identifying your key marketing messages provides the basis from which to plan for the coming months. Together we create a programme of work which can include PR/Advertising, Social Media, Website content, supporting Photography, Email communications, new Leaflets/Brochures, Copywriting and so on…all specific to what your business needs.

So on 1st January 2020 make your New Year’s Resolutions and on 2nd January give me a call or email me to discuss how I can help you keep your Marketing resolution. In the meantime, Merry Christmas to you all!
