Sharon’s First Race Night
Posted on Jul 01, 2018Sharon recently attended her first horse racing event, despite having worked for a saddle manufacturer for over 15 years!
In her new role as Secretariat for the UK Gasket & Sealing Association, Sharon organised their annual social Race Night at Leicester Race Course in June. The event provided an opportunity for Sharon to meet most of the committee members whom she’ll be working with, as well as members of the Association.
During a very hot evening, delegates enjoyed a three course meal interspersed with horse racing (and the England football match). Despite not winning at the races, Sharon had a thoroughly enjoyable time (as did the delegates) and is looking forward to organising their next event which is a Golf Day in September.
