Football Fever

Sharon has spent most of June and July focussing on a football themed promotion for one of her clients.

MacLellan Rubber, who are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of rubber sheeting and rubber products, came up with a football themed sales promotion for their customers which coincided with the World Cup.

Sharon worked closely with their Sales Manager on the detail of how the promotion would work, and devised all the PR and social media content for the four week period. The promotion caused quite a flurry of activity at MacLellan’s, especially during the football penalty shoot-outs. Watch their videos of the shootouts.

“Linking any company promotions to significant events is a great way to generate media interest” says Sharon “but it has to be carefully planned, costed and reviewed for return on investment.”
