Crazy Golf

August has been a busy month for Sharon as she organises the UK Gasket & Sealing Association‘s annual Golf Day & Dinner. The event, which takes at the end of September, is being held at the Hellidon Lakes Resort & Spa in Daventry and coincides with the Association’s 25th anniversary – so there will be some special celebrations this year.

Sharon has used her PRINCE2 training to create a project plan for the event to ensure all tasks are planned for with inter-dependencies identified as well as ensuring risks and issues are managed. The event includes the organisation of a committee meeting the night before with dinner; the AGM first thing in the morning followed by Golf or Spa for delegates, with the fundraising Dinner in the evening to raise monies for the Association’s charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Sharon is an experienced event organiser having organised events for a range of public and private sector clients over the years ranging from networking events, seminars for small businesses and larger conferences.
